“Older hotel, however, updates have been made in furnishings, flooring, etc. The location is fine with the lake right behind the hotel. Perkins is down the street for a quick meal. Breakfast was minimal, not the usual cooked breakfast but had cereal, oatmeal, packaged pastries and some breakfast sandwiches you could microwave yourself. I don’t think I’d stay here again. Pillows were horrid. ”

“The Staff that worked here were very nice and outgoing. The outside property and view of Lake Michigan are amazing. Also very convenient was having a restaurant very close. The only down side was I happened to go when the lake fly hatching was going on. So I was not able to use the balcony with out having a ton of lake flies getting in the room and buzzing me while I tried to sleep. But with the big bay window I was still able to enjoy a beautiful view.”

“Great location for snowmobiling. Hotel is on the trail and gas is a short distance. The hot tub was a nice feature after a long day of riding.”

“Nearby intersection with lots of road noise. Plus, railroad tracks and 3:30am long train rushing by. Parking area available with trailer. Room was comfortable.Breakfast available and great coffee. Subway just a few steps away. ”
