There are a few annoyances, but I grew to overlook them and enjoy what the cottage has to offer…definitely privacy and quiet. There’s a lovely park within blocks. It turned out to be exactly what I was looking for! I’ll miss it! ”

“We had an excellent 2 night stay in this cute little cottage. We came up for a Friday afternoon wedding and were able to check in a little early to freshen up and change beforehand. Thank goodness, because it was pouring down rain! Margaret quickly responded to our questions and gave a great winery recommendation. The house was exactly as pictured, and the location was perfect. Would definitely stay again, especially since we joined 2 wine clubs while we were up there!”

“It's very rarely that we get sad about leaving a rental property. This place felt like home, our host felt like family. It was a perfect weekend!”

“We hated the Del Mar Cottage the minute we walked in - hated that we would eventually have to leave this beautiful, clean and inviting space. We’ve stayed at numerous beach houses and vacation homes; this house is special. Location and proximity to the beach, shops in town and the neighboring communities is unparalleled. Everything you need or want is accounted for, and the host gave spot on recommendations. You should seize the opportunity to stay here if you can. Truly a gem.”

“Furniture and beds were comfy. The house offered everything we possibly could’ve needed for our stay including some toys for our three-year-old. Relatively quiet if you’re inside, but close to the freeway so there is noise. We didn’t walk to anything in the neighborhood, but drove a couple miles toward the ocean where there were many wonderful coffee shops, icee cream, restaurants and things to see and do. Overall, a nice home to spend the night.”

“We loved staying here! Everything was excellent quality. The views were breathtaking! The beds were very comfortable. Cindy was great at communicating and gave a great breakfast recommendation. Loved the extra touches of fresh fruit, snacks and good coffee!! Would for sure stay here again!! The property has a great trail to walk through the grove and great patio to enjoy sitting outside. ”
