“Nice overall but need to replace the following items in the room like (shower head moldy with green stain, tub stopper rusty and sink stopper broken, sliding door hard to open needs to be serviced and bathroom door needs to be adjusted) Besides these few things the room was great.”

“It’s a quiet, beautiful location. We basically had the place to ourselves until the wine tasting night. It’s close to Point Udall, which is a great place to watch the sunrise. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. There were only two downsides. One, I booked a room for a family of five, so I assumed there would be a sofa/bed or just a sofa. I had to pay an additional $60 a night plus tax for a rollaway. Second, you really can’t go out into the water here. The beach goes straight to a dead……

“We just got back from staying in the Sunset Suite at VH with our family of 4. We loved the quirkiness of the house, built in the late 18th century so it has wonky floors, but it gives it character. The 2 bedrooms are the only rooms with A/C so be prepared for the living room, kitchen and bathroom to be a lil toasty. We did ask for an extra box fan, which they kindly provided. We enjoyed hanging out at Ruff Night bar on premises and getting to know the locals. Everyone is sooo friendly! Even……

“It was a very pleasant stay. The area is easily accessible to the entire island. The view & breeze was great to just lay back and take in. Slept like a rock. Excellent for relaxing after a busy day. The host/management was very responsive, friendly and helpful. Internet was stable enough for video conferencing. Cell reception ok. You should rent at a minimum an AWD to move around the island. Many roads are in dire need of repair/upgrade across the island. Taxis and public transportation is scant……
