“Very welcoming and comfortable cabin. High end finishes and spectacular views of lake from livingroom and main bedroom. A dresser or closet with hanging space would've been nice in both bedrooms. Neighbors nearby but very quiet area and short drive to Chippewa Falls. Would definitely recommend. ”

“Really nice location overlooking the river. Used the boat landing across the river to launch kayaks and then enjoyed a lovely campfire in the evening.”

“Codax retreat was a fantastic home for our family of 14 people (ages 2-60). We did have to get creative with sleeping situations with kids as some of the sleeping areas are in the loft which is very open. We comfortably slept 8 adults in beds and 2 kids in the bunk beds. The other four kids slept on kid air mattresses (not provided). The 2.5 bathrooms were great to have. The open space was great and the garage - the kids LOVED. There were so many games/activities for all ages. We had plenty to……

“Great place for a family getaway. Beautiful quiet setting with a spacious well maintained exceptionally clean house on the Chippewa River. There are plenty of sleeping places and bathrooms. Great deck for morning coffee and fire pit for evening chats and marshmallow roast. Would definitely like to come back again.”
