“We are a group of 11 adults that go on an annual Labor Day trip every year, and this was the best year yet thanks to the Sandalwood Retreat. The house had more than enough space for everyone and their belongings. We were thankful to have two full kitchens and multiple places indoors and outdoors to hang out. Whether we were hanging out as a large group or we were split up into smaller groups or enjoying some alone time, the house accommodated all of our needs without feeling crowded. The hosts……

“The property is just as described, and worked perfectly for 6 adults and 2 kids. The kitchen is stocked with pretty much anything you would need, and there were plenty of games/activities for the kids. Adults and kids loved playing Foosball and PacMan in the basement. There was plenty of room at the pier for all of our boats and we were able to take them out every day we were there. Communication was fantastic and any questions we had were answered very quickly. “This was a lovely stay in a beautiful area. The home was very clean, the beds & pillows comfortable. The kitchen was extremely well-stocked with pans, utensils, flatware -- for someone who loves to cook, there was plenty of equipment to produce great meals. The home is located down a long tree-lined driveway, and have the feeling of being alone, even though it's a busy, well-populated area. My husband enjoyed playing horseshoes in the yard every night. The game room was amazing and all the games/toys make it a huge family hit! 10 mins from Hayward so easy trip into town for whatever you need but also totally secluded for peace and quiet!
