“Stayed 3 nights at this fantastic place, which is perfectly located for day-trips around the southern part of the island. Cosy cottages in as-new condition, fully furbished kitchenette was perfect for cooking meals, slept like babies in a large double-bed and twin sofa (very easy to unfold/fold). Very friendly couple running the cottages and the horse farm next to the cottages. “The Hela cabin was a wonderful stay for 3 people, it was charming and cozy. There were also horses living on the other side of the fence, we had a joy feeding and petting them! The location was also a plus, far enough from town to enjoy the stars and country atmosphere, but near enough for a short drive for meals and groceries (~10 mins).”

“Absolutely charming, unique accommodations in the Icelandic wilderness. The igloo itself was surprisingly well accommodated, and honestly, the bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept. That heated mattress is something else and it put us in the perfect peaceful spot to watch the magic of the northern lights. Delightful! ”

“The room is so clean and so comfortable. Definitely my priority hotel when I visit Iceland again.”
