“Property is a bit ways from town. Area is extremely peaceful. Cabin has plenty of space and nice open feel. Beforehand, owner was initially responsive however would have liked that to continue during our stay as we did not receive much during our stay. Listing should really mention steep spiral stairs to basement and to upstairs as for our small children needed help for safety as well as one adult who had a bad knee could not do these stairs. Recommend non slip treads for safety. Also recommend……

“This was a slice of heaven. Definitely plan on coming back to this location. Josie, Kirk &Jeter made this stay so fun. Josie shared her sausage bread with us absolutely awesome. Our last morning she made us grass-fed grass finished beef bacon with fresh eggs another totally awesome meal. We will stay there again in a heartbeat! ”

“The cabin was unbelievably beautiful with plenty of modern amenities. It actually looked as if no one had stayed there before. Everything was immaculate. Personally it was a bit more remote than we had anticipated but for some that may be a bonus. There were initial communication issues with the host but once resolved they were very responsive and accommodating.”

“Absolutely relaxing and clean. Everything we needed for some peace and quiet. Enjoyed the front porch over looking the clear lake. It was overcast and cool but the porch was cozy. Nice to have a fire next to the lake. Town was nearby and quaint. ”

“They were very accommodating allowimg us to sray later than check out. I was greatful they allowed our pets. We were staying overnight waiting to sign for and occupy my new home and this was perfect and convenient ”

“Annual girls weekend for 5. This was a new location this year instead of the beach...The serene surroundings were perfect, a little chill in the air and the town of Skaneatles is charming. Basement bedroom did not have adequate heater flow and the overall cabin needed a good clean and some recaulking but we enjoyed the rustic accommodations. Thank you for a great getaway.”

“A well maintained and amenity abundant property. Clean nicely decorated. Ample games in basement game room, and stacks of board games. Listing states sleeps 8, but take into account the 8 figure has 2 people in a full sized bed, with an additional queen, king, and 2 twins. Would bring own propane for grill and heater lamp, bottles were empty. Due to storm power went out, but property manager was easy to contact and very responsive. If staying in this area again, I will look for this property……

“The property was as described. Check in process was easy and the host was easy to contact and replied to questions in a timely manner. This cabin is located close to family and gives us a great option as a place to stay when visiting. We plan to stay here again. ”
