“This Fair Harbor cottage is on a great block with dune grass all around. The central rooms and screened porch are charming, vintage Fire Island, boho-surf style. The tiny kitchen is not easy to work in, and very disorganized, so you’ve got to put ideas of cooking like you’re used to aside and get into beach shack mode. This place calls for you to relax your expectations. It’s not very well maintained, there are traces of past renters everywhere, including trash, and debris so we did quite a bit……

“My family and I had the pleasure of staying here during the Christmas holidays, and it was an excellent experience. We were especially grateful for the accessibility features, as my grandmother (85 years young), who uses a walker and had recently undergone surgery, was able to comfortably stay on the main floor. The property had just a few steps to enter, and best of all, there was a bedroom and full bathroom on the main level, along with ample room for a walker or wheelchair.The home itself was……

“This property is steps away from the ferry, steps away from the beach and steps away from food, drinks and music. We had a great time. Cassie greeted us and made sure we had everything we needed!!!! She also went out of her way to make my daughters 21st birthday special. Highly recommend this property.”
