“I have stayed at this property many times and I keep coming back because of the home and the owners. If there is a problem, which is extremely rare, they get it taken care of immediately. Great communication with the owners, easy check in, flexible with times. I will of course return to this house again. ”

“I hosted a 60th birthday dinner for my husband at a nearby rec hall. This home was the perfect place for me to cook and prepare all the food for my husband's dinner. It was a great spot to sit with family and fellowship. The only issue I had was that the downstairs bathroom shower handle is not on correctly. You have to turn it towards the blue and its really slippery.There were a few spiderwebs and the steps leading to upstairs are really steep. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and I would stay……

“Quaint shabby shiek decor. Soft towels, available soaps, and comfortable furnishings! Very homey feel. Wonderful downtown area very close on the river. The owner was excellent! The cottage was clean, and prepped, and easy to get to. My only constructive comment would be to level out the floors/cottage, it was a bit disorienting walking into the kitchen and bath area. My only constructive critism ”

“Over all I enjoyed my stay but it started off bad. Not cleaned to my standards. Tables were sticky but there was cleaning materials so I could take care of it. There was open bar soap left in the shower and one of the sinks. I know not to use but it’s bad to think of handling something that has been on the body of an unknown person. The worst part was the sheets were dirty. There was a washer so I took care of that also but washing sheets upon arrival. Does not make for a good start of vacation.……

“Stayed here with family for Thanksgiving. House is comfortable, with comfortable beds and furniture, well equipped kitchen and nice yard. Located one block from the river and 2 blocks from the nice downtown area with restaurants and shops. We enjoyed a relaxing stay and walked to town to visit the winery/brewery and dinner at Marine City Fish Co. We would definitely stay again if in the area.”
