“We loved our winter stay in this cute, cozy cabin. Everything was clean and comfortable and the host checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, which we did. There was ample room for our family of 4, were able to hike in Van Buren State Park and along Lake Michigan from the cabin and were still minutes from town to go in for dinner. We were looking for a cabin in the woods with snow, and this delivered. We will be back to this cabin in the summer or fall to experience different……

“The property is very nice, very spacious, and comes with anything you may need. However, the property could use a thorough cleaning. The floors and bathrooms had a lot of hair left from the prior guests.The location is great. Very close to the dunes, and short drive to many other attractions.Additionally, when we arrived to check-in shortly after the scheduled check-in time, the cleaners were still there and then arrived several hours before check-out and sat in the driveway until we left.”

“This property is was well decorated and the kitchen had everything that we needed. The owner had great communication leading up to our stay. We were in town for a wedding so didn't get to enjoy the outdoor space, but that too looks lovely. Minor things could use improvement such as one of the beds was very squeaky, one toilet does not refill well and then doesn't flush when needed, and the water pressure in the shower was next to nothing. The oven, range, and fridge are exceptional. It has high-end grills, both gas and wood-fired. The nearby pizza place is yummy, but otherwise it was a bit of a drive to other activities. Everything was an easy drive, though. We didn’t try to walk to Hagar Beach as it would entail crossing and walking along the highway. ”
