“We were very pleased with the cottage and our stay. Michelle was very communicative throughout the process and the cottage was well-stocked with commonly needed items (we appreciated the stain remover on this trip, not something you'd find at every property!). The main stretch of Newberg is very walkable from this property and we enjoyed its proximity to many of the local wineries/vineyards during this trip.”

“Well appointed cottage. Carlton has wonderful restaurants that we wil try the next time we visit. This location lets you get to McMinnville or wineries within 15 minutes.”

“The property was easy to find (even at midnight) and the view of the property and valley was gorgeous. The property had everything we needed, but not everything we wanted (no bath soap, security lights SO bright through window - needed thicker curtain, the freezer was broken, and there was only one roll of paper towels, so we had to go to the store to buy ice and paper towels.) But we enjoyed our stay nonetheless!”

“A charming cottage with a serene, rolling creek that melts stress. Other than quick changes of the shower water temperatures, I couldn’t be more pleased with the cleanliness, charm, comfort (couch is a sleep magnet zone)and conveniences. Highly recommended. “A very tranquil and relaxing setting just a few miles from downtown. The owners were very nice and all the little touches like fresh baked cookies was welcoming. It was very comfortable and homey, which is what my wife wanted. There is no TV or closet per se for clothes so if you really want to unwind this is a good place to do it.”

“This property is super cute and has everything you need for a short stay. We appreciated having the basic spices available in the cupboard and quality cookware/dinnerware. The k cups were a plus also. The bathroom and kitchen were of substantial size and the bed was very comfortable. The only part we didn’t like was the yard area as you felt like you were right in the owners back yard so it was uncomfortable to be out there. It was set up very nicely, though, with a very cool water feature.……

“Very clean and inviting. My only issue was The lack of downstairs seating. The overstuffed chair could have used an ottoman because the chair height was uncomfortable to sit in for any length of time. Another condo chair or a love seat would have been great. I was supposed to have another person with me and if they came we wouldn’t have been able to stay because lack of seating. It is a one person cottage the way it’s set up. Mbecause if the person I was”

“Great property. Very cute, but could use some tweaks in functionality, especially if you have luggage for a longer trip. The hanging closet is too close and an awkward reach over the toilet so did not use. Hot water was not consistent and outside security light kept getting triggered, perhaps by a weather vane in the garden. Despite this, loved the complex and the common area. Well located and quiet at night.”

“The cottage is comfortable and cozy. The small space is well laid out and has what you need for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the country setting, yet close to town. I found the bed to be comfortable, but may be too soft and not supportive for a heavier person. Kathryn was very responsive with communications, and we really appreciated the special baked treats. Definitely recommend. ”
