“We had a great time at this beautiful new Inner Banks home. The property was spotless, with fresh, high-quality furnishings that made it feel both comfortable and upscale. The private water access was a wonderful feature, and while the fishing pier was a bit of a walk, it was worth it for the peaceful setting.The owners were excellent hosts—communicative, friendly, and extremely responsive to any questions we had. “We were in New Bern for a wedding with some things happening downtown and the wedding at Amelia Grove. This was the perfect place to base out of. Close to downtown and a short drive from the venue. There were just enough beds and baths for everyone and the bonus was that we were able to bring our dogs so we didn't need to board them while we were gone. “We were very pleased with the property. We brought our 25’ center console and was able to maneuver it and park at the dock. Water depth at the dock is around 3-4’ depending on which way the wind is blowing. The water depth varied between 4-5” in the 3 days we were there but was still plenty for the boat. We had a fantastic stay and look forward to coming back! Thanks Brooke and Red!”
