“My daughter and I stayed 2 nights while visiting colleges in the area. The room was cute (modern, beach-vibe) and clean. As others mentioned when the bar let out around midnight it was a little loud (many college students rent in the area). I also didn’t care for the mini-split going on and off throughout the night - I’m just not used to that noise. Overall it was a fine stay but perhaps not if you are a light-sleeper. ”

“We really enjoyed our time here. The house was probably the cleaning we've stayed at yet. It was the perfect size for the three of us and had everything we needed. “The Arts and Crafts home was more beautiful than the pictures reflected! We loved all of the details in the woodwork, hidden little corners, tons of space to spread out and wonderful places to gather together. “If you pictured this property minutes from the historic district of Newtown it’s exactly that. The space brings to life the feeling of the rustic yet comfortable aspect of Connecticut. My adult son and teenage daughter were comfortable but thoroughly enjoyed the living room fireplace. This location is 10 minutes away from restaurants that will please most families with a mix of family to high end with a side of fancy. ”

“My partner and I were driving home from a trip further North when a snow storm and many accidents were ahead. We decided last minute to find a place to stay and came across this Best Western. The reservation was seamless, we got a room immediately after booking online only 5 minutes before, and the room was perfectly comfortable. Staff was friendly, breakfast was delicious, and we were able to rest the way we needed to before getting back on the road in the morning. Thank you!”

"As an experienced traveler, I have to rate this La Quinta a ONE out of Five. The facility is too old to use. To open the door, you need to insert the card key dozens of times. The hall way is not flat, slightly uphill or downhill. The drain of the tub is only half-working. When you take shower your feet are in the water. Basin is cracked and glued. AC sound wakes you up every time when it starts. Breakfast is ok, but lack of food after 8:50, it says that the time of breakfast is 6:30 to 9:30. Parking is free and safe, which is only thing make my thumb up. Overall, with $140 per night price, I must say, I was very disappointed by this hotel!!! By the way, the other La Quinta hotels I have lived in are very good."
