Pure 1940's rustic cabin so much like the one our family visited when we were kids except this one has indoor plumbing, lol. Quaint & clean. Backdoor just steps from beachfront. Pet friendly. “This little cabin was perfect for our getaway! The outside space was fantastic, we had several bonfires. Very close to town and the AuSable river. ”

“Cabin was exactly as described, loved the rustic feel, knotty pine interior and stone fireplace. My girlfriend and I along with our dog Ollie loved the property and the area. Jonathan was a great host and fantastic river guide. Will be back next year with a side x side in tow. Great area for hiking, canoeing, bikes and side x sides. ”

“Great home! Very clean and with all the things we needed for our stay. Walkable to Churchill Pointe Restaurant. We brought our paddle boards, spent our days hanging on dock, and rented a boat for an afternoon as well. Water is super clear and amazing for swimming. Fire pit for s’mores at night rounded out the trip. Derek is incredibly responsive, and was able to work with us when our dates shifted from what we originally planned. Would definitely stay again! ”

“We were thrilled to be on the Thunder Bay river. My family likes to fish off the dock. It is shallow at this point and peacful. We were able to use one kayak. The second kayak was too filled with rain.water and too heavy for us to turn over and drain it. The deck is a lovely place to sit or eat and watch the river, except that the seat cushions were soaked with rain water also. I suggest a deck storage box to store the seat cushions when not in use. this will keep them dry and ready for use.……
