“Es war ok, vor allem nah bei den Tavernen am steilen Hang. Das Zimmer erinnerte von den Möbeln und der Ausstattung wie auch von den baulichen Gegebenheiten an vergangene Zeiten, gleichwohl war es sehr sauber und wir haben gut geschlafen. Das WLAN war gut, das Frühstück hervorragend und die Freundlichkeit des Personals sehr schätzenswert. Es liegt nicht direkt am Hafen, wie Hotels.com glauben machen will, sondern am vergleichsweise steilen Hang. Zugang geht nur über Treppen oder eine……

“We came back to Erofil this year again! Magical view from the balcony. The room had all we needed and the beds were comfortable. Cleaning everyday and new towels etc. We mostly explored beaches outside ag.galini and this was a perfect spot for us! Great restaurants walking distance.”

“One of the loveliest hotels we've stayed in on Crete, and excellent value. Our room had a breathtaking seaview and we'd return just for this alone. But the host, Harris, was also very friendly and attentive, telling us how to navigate down to the beach and town. Air conditioning worked like a dream and the bed was comfy. All in all a brilliant experience, and as we are frequent visitors to Crete we will be back. ”

“We stayed here for 7 nights and enjoyed every day. Beautiful views from balcony and private pool. It’s quiet and away from popular tourist traps. Had basic kitchen amenities so we were able to make breakfast and lunch. Everything was very clean and neat on arrival. The private pool was used every day and night, fantastic for a family with kids. Stelios and staff were so kind and very helpful. Parking available and a short drive to Rethymno. “The hosts were wonderful, friendly and very good cook. Plus, he is a fabulous musician playing the luth after dinner and singing with his wife for our delight! The setting in the wilderness of the high Cretan mountains was a discovery for us. Highly recommended to discover traditional Cretan hospitality.”

“Das Hotel ist eigentlich ein Traum. Die Zimmer sehr sauber, dafür alles andere nicht so. Hier dürfte etwas mehr gemacht werden. Leider auch beim Pool. Mit sehr wenig könnte man da etwas wundervolles machen! Die Lage fanden wir super! Einfach nur Ruhe pur! Wir würden da wieder hin.”
