“The property we stayed in was new and has been built to a very high standard. All the rooms have a shower and seperate toilet. A sink is located in each room next to the door. The living areas are bright and clean with floor to ceiling windows/doors, open plan kitchen diner with lots of space with modern appliances. “Stunning property in a newly restored old house. Beautiful, spacious and well-appointed room. The common areas were comfortable and there was a lovely balcony. The breakfast which was beautifully served on the balcony was beyond compare. Local, fresh, and delicious Cretan treats. Archanes is close to Heraklion and the palace of Knossos and had plenty of dining options. We were in Greece for three weeks and our night at Carpe Diem was probably our best stay. Can’t recommend highly enough. ”

“my family of 4 (2 teens). we needed an short stay overnight to catch the ferry early morning. This was 8-10m drive to the port. it was spacious enough for what we needed. You are near the airport so planes can be heard above relatively loud and often but it did not impact our sleep. It was a short (2-3m) walk to many dining options for food or coffee as well. Would return.”

The deluxe pool-view apartment was spacious, with a small kitchen which was great if you want to save on eating out every meal.
