“I had a pleasant stay at Blue Horizon. The apartment itself is renovated, and therefore quite modern and fresh. Everything I needed for living comfortably was provided. The view from the balcony is wonderful. I stayed out of season and therefore a car is a must as there are no open shops close by. Malia is an easy 5 minute drive with supermarkets and cafes and a very good bakery. I took me 12 minutes to walk to the beach promenade but it’s a steep climb on the return, so a little longer coming……

“Kostas Apartments are an affordable option, if one would like good food, safe environment and within easy distance to Spinalonga Island. The room and furniture, especially the bathroom is quite old (the shower tray is tiny!!!!), but the beds were comfortable and the fridge worked. I received no reminder from Expedia, that I was supposed to confirm my fully paid booking and arrival time 3 days before checking in. This resulted in having to wait around for someone to let us in. “Had a fantastic stay at Psaras. This was our 2nd time & equally enjoyable. Comfy beds, constant hot water, great position for restaurants, bars etc & maid service regularly. The only thing to mention is on our previous visit we could use the pool at the hotel in front. We were told we couldn’t do that any more as it’s an all inclusive hotel & it’s not free to use the pool/beds like it was 4 yrs ago. Otherwise all good ”
