They provide guests with complimentary bikes in the warmer months and snowshoes when the drifts kick in. “We loved our time at this Tahoe City home. The host was super helpful and responsive, and even accommodated early check in/late check out for us. It was just the right amount of space for 2 young families with kids, had an amazing view of the lake and was close to ski mountains. All in all a great stay. My only note for potential renters in the winter is that the driveway is steep and can get icy. Definitely took some management and were glad we had 4WD cars.”

“Big house, clean and cozy”

“Overall this place was great. It is truly a cabin in the woods! We saw a bear in the driveway on the first night and still felt very safe. We had a question for the host after we arrived and they were quick to respond. We'll stay again”

“It was the ideal cabin for Lake Tahoe! I would note that this is not in South Lake City, but about 45 minutes north of it so just keep that in mind when booking as there is limited things to do in Tahoe City.”

“We had a great time. Even though it rained every day we still got some snowboarding in...The cabin was amazing the hot tub was great even in the rain fire was warm and cozy ...we would recommend this cabin to anyone.”

“We enjoyed the location and cozy feel of the cabin. However, listing an electric “fireplace” that puts out no heat as a fireplace is quite a stretch. Kitchen was dirty, poorly organized and needs a thorough cleaning. Coffee maker had mildew in the tank and an old pod on arrival. Sink had food debris and the water only worked part of the time. Wifi did not work on the 5g we were told to use- we’re able up connect to main house in one area of the cabin. Overall a nice stay but this rental needs……

“From the moment of booking the tiny cabin, Courtney was amazing and so easy to work with. The cabin was exactly as described. Close to everything and so cozy and comfortable. Beds were great, water pressure was amazing. I loved the fact that our dogs were accommodated. We had a wonderful time celebrating my husband’s birthday in Tahoe. 5 stars!”

It was nice to be just a 7-minute drive from Heavenly, come back from the slopes and have the option to wind down in a warm hot-tub, jacuzzi tub or my favorite, the steam room. We had everything we needed to have a fun and rejuvenating weekend getaway. It was my first time booking with VRBO and Brandon made the check-in and check-out process simple and was very responsive.”

“Overall we had a good experience. Cabin was as described. There were a few glitches… The bathroom window had a frosted covering that only covered part of the window. This allowed for anyone to see in. There were no hand towels in the kitchen so we used a lot of paper towels. There are 4 TVs and at least 7 remotes. We did t know which remotes belonged to which TVs and got extremely frustrated trying to watch anything. I dropped my phone and it went under the bed. It was super dirty and……
