“Loved the sun room you can see the lake and sunset every day!!”

“First I am normally not a complainer. I have also stayed in many VRBOs. All very positive experiences.I was expecting rustic because this place looked dated. However upon arrival there is an odor in the home that could not clearly be explained. We bought candles to help with the smell. It is supposed to be supplied with enough towels and wash clothes for 13 guests. It is not. They are working on flooring up stairs so one room was subfloor. Not completed. “Stayed at this sweet house with 3 adult sisters. Was a beautiful , clean home! Despite some initial issues we had, the stay was amazing !! The owner and property manager were completely responsive and kind. The issue we had was quickly resolved and they even gave us a gift card for a local estery for our issue! Very kind of them! Would definitely stay here again. So many good things about staying in a home away from home. Thanks for such a wonderful stay in Faribault! I can safely say all 4 of……

“House was basically as described. Definite musty smell as you enter. Property manager showed up unannounced to "just say hi" while we were out in front of the house so didn't hear the doorbell. This was followed by text messages (that we didn't see because phones were not in hand) asking permission for owner (who lives right next door) to come inside to check mouse traps that were set throughout the house (or just to make sure we left doors open as instructed by the notes that were attached to……

“The host was truly a Superhost! He was available at all hours (seemingly) for any questions or issues we had and if there was anything not 100%, he took care of it right away. He made sure we had a welcome gift at our arrival and the home came equipped with everything we needed for a perfect week with family. The house came equipped with board games, fishing rods and bait, life jackets, canoes/kayak, plenty of beach towels, a gas grill, and firewood for the firepit. We had all the tp we needed……

“We were in town for a wedding and this was the perfect place for our family. The house was clean and well stocked. Awesome game room!”

“We had our annual extended family get away here vs staying in northern MN or Wisc. We all enjoyed how close it was to our actual homes (MPLS and St Paul) and were impressed with all the amenities, like towels, soap, toilet paper. Past experience we’ve had properties that only leave you one roll of toilet paper (example). The fire pit was wonderful and the host responsive when we had a request. We would definitely come back again! ”
