“This was the perfect stay for us. We stayed 3 nights and visited Chaco, Aztec ruins and Salmon ruins. The host Weston was prompt in communications and made sure we were totally happy with the house. The house was in an excellent location, close to restaurants, grocery stores! Spotless housekeeping. We stayed with 2 little dogs and the fenced back yard was a great place for us to sit outside with them and relax after a day of sight seeing. Beds were comfortable as well. Highly recommend this……

“Clean, comfortable and very cute glamping tent was the perfect place to stay in Bayfield. It was well stocked with plates, silverware, towels, etc. The nights were chilly, but they provided two electric space heaters (in addition to the heat pump) which kept it very warm and cozy inside. It did make me a little nervous though, as there were no smoke alarms in the glamping tent. I also wish there were a broom inside, as lots of debris got tracked inside over my 5 day stay. “This property is absolutely beautiful and is away from everything which is great but only 15 minutes to Durango. The house is beautiful and spacious and the wrap around deck has a wonderful view of the snow capped mountains. The property is very clean and great water pressure for the showers. Some local wild life visited (mule deer and tons of anoles). I will definitely stay here again upon a return to ride the Durango-Silverton Narrow Gauge railroad again which was awesome. “Light and airy, nice kitchen set up, excellent shower. Great location, walkable to downtown, right near a great breakfast place. Busy street, but we were in back, so no road noise. On the downside, the small living space was somewhat cluttered with furniture, leaving no place to put suitcases. Also, the property owners were unresponsive. The first day I complained that the overgrown hedge with prickly branches made it impossible to use the driver side doors with out getting your clothes snagged.……

“Loved our stay! House is very well located and offers easy walking to downtown. Obviously with close proximity comes noise. 8th avenue is a major thruway and more than a few chowderheads blasted by with no muffler, screaming diesels, etc. Next time we’ll try to stay in the studio in the back since it’s off the road. Unit is extremely well provisioned! Holly is responsive and kind. We’ll definitely use one of her properties again.”
