“Parking in the back looked a bit on the dark side (i’m small female travelling alone) but the receptionist noted I could park along the curb out front where there’s much more light and closer to the front entrance — I wouldn’t have to enter from the back or side. He was very kind and reassuring. The room had everything I needed and the lobby was stocked with iced water, which not every hotel has these days! Pet fee was also $35, which I feel is reasonable. “The location was wonderful. Convenient to historic downtown Durango, but not in the middle of traffic congestion and noise. The front desk clerks, Doug and Stephanie, were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The dining area, for morning breakfast, was clean and well maintained by dining staff.
