“The Stone House, lovingly owned by Mark and Sharon was a step back in time. The stone structure, while I suspect it was built many years ago still had all of the modern conveniences you would want.This well appointed home was set in the mountains and we were able to step out of modern chaos and truly relax. The gardens, the pool and the outdoor patio set the stage for a lovely glass of vhino verde and great conversation.Thank you Mark and Sharon for sharing your well-loved home with us! We will……

“We had a great week relaxing at this property. The pool and garden are fabulous. A really peaceful location but within an easy drive to everything we wanted to see and do in the area. The host was was very helpful when called upon but also respectful of our privacy at other times.”

“This is our second visit to this villa, Maria who takes care of the property on behalf of the owner is on hand and nothing is too much trouble. It’s in walking distance to Intermarche for groceries, 2 minutes to a restaurant and 10 minutes to a cafe. Patricia is quick to answer any questions, we messaged asking for coasters and an outside ashtray which we found left outside the door within a few hours. The only suggestion I would make is a a basic welcome basket for late night arrivals would be……

“We had a wonderful 5 nights. Our little house could have easily slept 6. It was typically rustic country living and had all the amenities that we needed. We even had a covered parking area for our car to keep it cool. The pool was set in a lovely little garden with loungers and it was our personal haven especially as we hit the heat wave and most days it was in the 40's. The pool was our go to place when we arrived back from our daily jaunts. We were a 15 minute drive from a large Lidl store……

“We loved Burgau. The VRBO was great for us. It was a little hard to find. That was the only difficulty. The apartment had what we needed. It was right across the street from 2 restaurants. We loved the view from the upstairs balcony. We would gladly stay here again. It was great for the two of us. It would be tight for any more than 3 or so. ”
