“Arrived around 5pm but hotel is closed till restaurant opens at 6pm. When we arrived we were greeted with a friendly smile and a hand with our bags. The rooms are clean and basic. Our room was right at the front and with the windows opened the sound of the traffic was loud. ”

“Wow what a rare find. Firstly it’s magnificent and then we booked last minute and the hotel called us to find out what time we’d arrive (it was 10pm) and to ask if we’d like some food on arrival how about that. They were amazing. Got us a great meal to take to our room 10.30pm and arranged a dog bed and it was just totally first class. Advertised as 5 star and made it in every way. From the team on the front desk, to the chef and the overnight team as we had to leave at 6am to continue our……

“Everything was perfect! David was a very welcoming host, even though we arrived after 9pm. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was comfortable and spacious and very clean with bottled water and amenities. David laid on the nicest breakfast of warm croissants, warm bread, cheeses, jams, yoghurt and honey, and also supplied is plenty of milk and cocoa for hot chocolate. The cats and dogs at the property are adorable and all in all, it was a very relaxed overnight stay. Merci, David et Cecile.”
