“The owner and staff are exceedingly gracious, we felt quite welcome. Our room is warmly decorated and comfortable from the bed to the linens to the rain shower and tiled bath. “Loved the water view, walkability to the quaint village of Oxford, and proximity to the ferry. The room was very spacious, clean, quiet, and comfortable. Coffee, Keurig, cream, and sugars were provided, along with a spacious refrigerator. A treat bag with snacks and seltzer drinks was provided upon check-in, which was very smooth and easy. Unfortunately, most stores and eating options were closed Monday and Tuesday. No breakfast was offered other than walking into the village for a breakfast……

“Staff were really nice and ready to assist. The property and the rooms were very clean. Beds were comfy. Needed to turn the fridge up and the TV was finicky. You can hear the traffic from the highway but it wasn’t so bad. Overall, a good place to stay and a short drive to all the food places.”

“Air conditioning unit was very loud and woke me up every time it kicked on through the night. Breakfast not very appealing- didn’t eat. Bananas all brown. ”

“I liked the location of this hotel -- near lots of restaurants, etc., but not right on the main highway; easy to get to. Spacious room, very clean, quiet, quiet air conditioner with comfortable temperature. Decent refrigerator, easy-to-work tv/remote. The breakfast area was quite large and nicely laid out with good amount of spacing between tables. Typical average breakfast offerings.”

“Electrical Outlet under the TV would not hold plug in place so I could re-charge my computer etc. One of the USB ports was damaged and not usable. HVAC thermostat would not maintain a semi-consistent temperature. Room would get very warm before unit would come on. Thermostat probably needs to be replaced. ”

“Hampton inn has got much better with larger rooms, king size beds and plenty of counter space. The dark roast coffee was the best we’ve had in a while and even offered hazelnut and French vanilla. They also provided 2 bottles of water which is new. There was a woman who yelled at the manager on duty which I didn’t think he deserved it. She probably had a bad day and took it on him. The shower is great. We would stay here anytime. ”
