“The house and property were even better than expected. While the house had plenty of room to allow everyone to fit comfortably and spread out, it also provided lots of spaces for us to gather together as a large group. We are a family of 15, including adults, teens, and children, and we came together for a weekend of quality time outdoors together, which was exactly what this property provided. The house is as advertised and looks just like the pictures. We had two families of 4 staying there and hosted a celebratory birthday dinner for my mother in law's 75th. “As a family with multiple people in a wedding at Vanderwende Acres, this house was in the prime spot. The house offered quick access for traveling to and from the wedding venue for multiple events in a weekend. The house had great amenities such as a separate pool table room which could not be heard in the bedrooms when trying to put our kids down. The bedrooms had ample space for family members to choose from and lawn offered space for the kids to run.”

My kids enjoyed fishing off the dock. The host was amazing as well. Another plus were the super comfortable beds. Would highly recommend this property if staying in this area!”

“Spent a very comfortable two nights at this nice apartment in Cambridge. I'd highly recommend it if you need to be in the area for personal travel or business. Very near to the town center, so it's easy to get to restaurants and other placed of interest. Parking was abundant. I needed to do some work while I was there and the WIFI was great and easy to access. The hosts had the apartment clean and ready for our arrival and the apartment was stocked with paper products, coffee, and some……

“Stef and Dustin’s place is great. Very private, clean, easy access. They are excellent communicators the unit even has a small ice maker which was the first time I have seen that, nice touch! Mini ridge worked great too. 100% recommend a stay in this suite!”

“The Woodwind house is our absolute favorite home to stay in on the entire Eastern Shore area. We stayed in late August 2025, with family that included two elderly seniors and adults and teens, and two dogs. The check in process was smooth and exactly as described. This is our third time staying at The Woodwind, and since our last stay the pool house has been completely renovated. With a brand new bathroom and sauna as well! “Wonderful stay at the house. The house was as advertised and had all necessary amenities. We had a blast together and didn’t have to worry about a thing with the house. I will note that the back steps that lead from the porch are very steep and elderly adult took a fall. A note on this or new steps would be great. The place was very clean.
