“Hotel didn’t have out reservation even after we had paid for it - took an hour to check in at midnight - parking lot was full of random activity and people all hours of night and hall ways smelled like weed. Clientele was shady and co within of hotel rooms and surrounding area was dirty, worn out, in need of maintenance and overall place was a dump. Checked out a day early and forfeited a night because place was so disgusting. Expedia needs to remove them from hotel options and do a better job……

“We stayed at this home 9 years ago, and since then Carolyn and Jon have done major improvements to this home. It is heaven on earth for us, being right on the water to hear the waves, splash against the shoreline. The sunrises & sunsets, along with the moon, never fail to provide natures show during our stay! Thank you Carolyn & Jon for sharing your beautiful home with us! ”

“The Doll House is a beautiful home. Nick and Nick thought of everything, from snacks to dog toys. I was really impressed by how immaculate the house was. The neighborhood is a quiet dead end street, which was awesome. If you’re traveling to the Waterford area, you will love the Doll House.”

“Clean, enjoyable stay. Curtains or shades would be helpful to block lights. Rug in front of sink needs to be secured to floor. ”

“The house really sits on its beach with a rock surrounded natural pool at high tide. The weather was CRAZY with rain and wind. The house held the temperature and was comfortable as the temps dropped below freezing! FYI the 4th bedroom with the trundle bed hasn’t a door so hence not a lot of privacy. But we were all good friends;) it was a comfortable space for 5 women who were good friends”

“We had such a great experience here! Joseph was so gracious and responsive and went above and beyond to make our stay great. His place is so cute with a mix of whimsical and really convenient touches. Our dog loved the yard, too! The neighborhood is gorgeous, too. We wished we had more time to explore the area and to take advantage of all the house has to offer. ”

“House is in the best location, a mile from Ocean Beach Park, full of privacy with great view. We had very good time and we will definitely come back. It was clean and as described. Minor things needs to be looked at is the AC which is not very powerful but it's not the end of the world and the fact that there is no hood above the range make the house smoky if you want to cook something because you can't open any window. Overall, we are very happy for staying here!!!”

“Lovely, spacious and clean. We spent our Christmas holiday together with our family and the house was spacious and spotless. We had 5 adults with 2 small children in house. We hosted Christmas dinner for us and local family. Great space. Would love to rent in summer months to utilize outdoor space”

“Staying at this home provided a great home base to explore a few activities in the area. We were able to use the kitchen for meals & relax together once the day was complete. The location within walking distance to the beach was ideal for walks/runs and listening to the waves of the ocean. The host was kind & responsive - we would stay here again!”

It was the perfect retreat for us, and we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and the breathtaking sunset views, especially while cooking in the beautifully designed kitchen. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare an amazing family dinner. The town of Clinton was absolutely charming, with the friendliest people, and we fell in love with Hammonasset Beach—it’s a must-visit! We’ll definitely be returning in the summer. The……

“We stayed here over Easter while visiting our son at the Coast Guard Academy. After staying in New London multiple time, it was really nice to explore Niantic. The house was so cozy and very well stocked. We enjoyed sitting by the firepit. The beach at the end of the road was a quick walk, and my kids loved using the scooter and bikes that were available. Host was receptive and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!”
