“We walked into this cottage and immediately noticed how clean it was! Great location - VERY short drive to the San Diego Zoo, several beaches, shops, restaurants, and walking distance to a small park! Most importantly, we felt safe- very kind neighbors. Friendly dogs everywhere we went, and we can't forget to mention the neighborhood kitty, Oliver, that my daughter fell in love with! Thank you for helping make this first family trip of ours such a great experience!”

“This was the perfect location for our family adventure to San Diego. Walking distance to everything…beaches, restaurants, stores. Also very close to Sea World! Also a really cute cozy space for our little fam! ”

“The cottage was as described in the listing. Location is excellent with easy access to the bay and ocean. There were a good amount of kitchen supplies; coffee, some spices, as well as baking dishes and ample containers for leftovers. The outdoor space was great for relaxing after our daily adventures. Having parking is a plus, however, the description of the garage situation is accurate so be sure to read about it if you bring a car! The two things I would mention are: 1 - the refrigerator is……

“This is a beautiful little beach cottage situated just 2 1/2 blocks from a lovely beach! It was easy to check in and the neighborhood was quiet with the exception of airplanes which we easily drown out by leaving the bathroom fan on! We visited the zoo, Balboa Park museums, Point Loma Tide Pools , Cabrillo National Monument, and of course, the beach! My only complaint is that our stay was too short!”

“We had a lovely time staying at the Steps to the Sand-Upscale Beach Cottage. The hosts were very responsive and made the check in/check out process a breeze! The location is very close to the beach. Extremely walkable neighborhood to local restaurants, coffee shops, and bars! We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back next time we are in the area. Highly recommend! ”

“Fabulous location. You can walk to the beach, grocery, restaurants. Easy to drive to the zoo, Sea World, Old Town. If there is any downside at all, it’s the parking. We always found a place on the block, but you have to pay attention to times. I would book again!”

“The cottage is nicely appointed, and we liked having a parking spot and laundry facilities. Very clean, very quiet. Nice outdoor area for relaxing and space for an 18 month old to play. Janet and Scott were immediately available by phone to help with a minor electrical issue. There were toys and a high chair we used, and a pack & play, which we did not. Roomy closets in both bedrooms, comfortable beds. Would love to stay here again.”

“It was a great stay for what we needed. We didnt plan to stay in the hotel for most of the trip. We needed a place to sleep and this location was perfect! Close to everything that we wanted to do/visit. Rooms were a good size just for us 2. Like i said we just needed a place to sleep. All the front desk were super friendly and helpful! ”

“I have nothing to fault at Kasa, I wish I could move here! I was in town for a conference for a week. The rest of my colleagues were at a conference hotel but I wanted something different. Staying here made me feel so at home and relaxed. The apartment was just perfect, really stylish and comfortable. I loved having a washer and dryer! In the building is a great amenities floor with outdoor pool, gym, sauna, ice bath, reformer pilates. I was really pleased to find time to make use of the sauna……
