“It was chilly and snowy but the views from the deck and from inside the big picture windows were absolutely stunning, and we made use of both the indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit to stay nice and cozy. The only minor downside to this hidden gem of a property is that it has pretty low water pressure - it made washing dishes a bit more difficult and made me not want to even attempt washing my shoulder length hair. But outside of that (again, very minor) this place was truly a little slice of……

“House presents itself directly to the lake, which is the main draw for me. Kitchen is very functional, ample furniture, and the fire pit patio is awesome.The house added a water purifier since my last visit. That was a major upgrade and enhancement to the stay.”

“This accommodation was perfect for our family of 5. The property has a heated outdoor pool as well as indoor amenities including a restaurant. The alpine slide and gondola are just down the street and Lutsen is close to lots of parks and other small towns. Bring s'mores supplies and roasting sticks for the outdoor fire pits! ”

“This property is obviously well loved. The little touches all around both inside and out made us feel welcome. My grandson loved his “bear” bedroom and would love to come back and stay in the “moose bedroom “The location is perfect for hiking and is close to Lutsen and Grand Marais. ”

“Great property for a mid-size group. We had 4 adults and 2 young children. The upstairs room has a trundle bed, that worked well for our young kids with us nearby and the other adults had their own spaces downstairs. There is not much yard, so kids played inside/on deck. There are stairs down to the lake, leading to some steep rocks. I wouldn't trust kids down there unsupervised. Big kitchen, great views, nice location. Right on the bike path, with easy access to Gooseberry and Split Rock by……

“We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. It’s conveniently located to state parks yet feels isolated. The cabin is nice, the views are terrific, and campfire secluded. Great for families. ”
