“The house was spacious, comfortable and well equipped with towels, bed linens and kitchen equipment. Our only issue was we weren’t able to control the volume on the tv. ”

“It was chilly and snowy but the views from the deck and from inside the big picture windows were absolutely stunning, and we made use of both the indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit to stay nice and cozy. The only minor downside to this hidden gem of a property is that it has pretty low water pressure - it made washing dishes a bit more difficult and made me not want to even attempt washing my shoulder length hair. But outside of that (again, very minor) this place was truly a little slice of……

The weather was perfectly mixed, and topping off a chilly morning walk or a toasty afternoon climb with a sauna and then a beer on the deck was amazing!! “We stayed at Alex & Kate's A-Frame in Tofte while competing at spring races at Lutsen. They were incredibly responsive and accommodating with our needs, and the house is fantastic. Easily fit the 7 of us, with a great space for hanging out after the day of skiing. And the Sauna was incredible! Easy to use, and really made for a great way to end the day. Well appointed kitchen, amazing deck with views of Lake Superior, quiet setting - just perfect. Will keep this place on our go-to when back……
