“Wonderful cabin. Came during March in Minnesota, so it was rainy and snowing. Don't know if they had any salt as I couldn't find any, so it'll be nice to keep some during the winter and early spring season. Cabin was clean and warm. The patio door was tricky to close after opening but we eventually got it to lock. The view was spectacular, overlooking lake Superior and highway 61. Location of the cabin is good too, literally right next to splitrock lighthouse and gooseberry falls and tettogouche……

“The cabin is beautiful. Very nicely built and decorated cabin. Beds are very comfortable and the property is very clean. The kitchen is well stocked with good quality pots/pans and utensils as well as a handful of appliances like coffee pot, Keurig, toaster, blender and a handful of other various appliances. Our only complaint is that we couldn’t figure out how to get down to the beach to watch the sunrises and sunsets but that was okay as we had ample opportunity to see and explore the lake shore on our daily excursions. “It was chilly and snowy but the views from the deck and from inside the big picture windows were absolutely stunning, and we made use of both the indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit to stay nice and cozy. The only minor downside to this hidden gem of a property is that it has pretty low water pressure - it made washing dishes a bit more difficult and made me not want to even attempt washing my shoulder length hair. But outside of that (again, very minor) this place was truly a little slice of……
