“What a beautifully unique place to stay! We were in the Gamekeeper's bothy and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was clean and spacious and the wood stove kept us plenty warm! We never saw any red squirrels but I did see a beautiful jay that was so different from the blue jays we have in the US. I would stay here again in a minute!”

“The Auchenblae house is very spacious, well equipped, modern and great for families or groups of friends. Very comfortable beds, enough bath rooms, the video/ TV/ Playroom was the favourite of our sons.Check-in was bery easy, the kitchen very well equipped, and the scottish recycling system well explained and set up. Communications with the owner were always quick and easy. Many very intetesting locations are a short drive away, like Stonehaven and Dunnottar Castle, Royal Deeside, Loch Muick,……

“Had a great time in this lovely home. So clean and tidy. Everything was prefect. The host had thought of everything as well as a nice welcome hamper. Edzell is a lovely place to stay and we were lucky enough to visit when a gala was on. Will be a place I’ll go back to in the future. ”

“Our family consisting of us, the parents, our three grown children and their spouses, and three grandchildren, stayed at the property in Banchory for three days, but I sorely wished it could have been a week. The property is stunning and the house is everything you might wish a Scottish manor house to be. It took us a couple of days to not get lost inside while roaming around. If someone wanted to get away to a quiet place, that was definitely not a problem! But it was the setting that really……

“We had a really lovely stay at the boathouse—one senior and two adults—and it worked perfectly for us. The area is quiet and peaceful, which we really appreciated, and it’s so close to Dunnottar Castle. The house itself was super comfortable with great beds and all the amenities we needed. We felt right at home. Communication with the host was friendly, and helpful. A great place to relax and enjoy the countryside.”

“This is a very well equipped, spacious property which was real pleasure to stay in. The garden is well maintained with good outside seating and a BBQ. It is centrally located in Ballater so easy to visit shops and restaurants on foot, close to the golf course and local walks in easy reach. Mark, the host was very welcoming and promptly answered queries. We would stay here again. Great place.”

“Beautiful, tranquil spot to get away from city life. Estate was a gorgeous example of Scottish Nature yet close enough to be able to walk into town. The cottage was the perfect size for 4, and the internet worked fantastic. The only draw back was the weak signal for tv; we could only get 1 channel in with any regularity. But this isn't the type of place you would sit and just watch tv anyways so we didn't care. The host was responsive with our questions prior to staying and the overall……
