“The Amsterdam Hotel was an extremely cost-effective option in Stamford, where the average hotel rates have skyrocketed. That said, set your expectations accordingly. This is a dated hotel with old furnishings and no frills (although the included continental breakfast was a nice extra). However, the staff is friendly and helpful, the room was spotlessly clean, and it's within walking or short drive distance from whatever you want to do in Stamford. I felt like I got my money's worth.”

“As an experienced traveler, I have to rate this La Quinta a ONE out of Five. The facility is too old to use. To open the door, you need to insert the card key dozens of times.
