“Well kept location ”

“Was a nice experience, definitely not for the faint heart. But it give us all the privacy and proper glamping experience. The place remains raw in nature, loved the cabin cozy and a great view.”

“We spent 4 nights, my wife and I and two close friends who were visiting us from Louisiana, driving to Yosemite Valley, and hiking there and in the Giant Sequoia Grove and climbing Vernal Falls. The cabin was very nice and well appointed for our needs. The space allowed for privacy and also conversation and eating areas, and the Foresta area was very quiet and beautiful and allowed for local hiking to Foresta Falls without having to drive at all. We had a very nice stay.”

“The house is well maintained, bright and big enough for 8 people including kids. It's near to Merced river and is good for short hikes or strolls. Although it gets very dark in the evenings. The house is equipped with almost everything you would need and can stay for a week or longer if you want ”

“Lovely cosy cottage so well equipped. More kitchen utensils than I have at home. Comfy beds, lovely towels. Enjoyed the log fire and wine on the terrace as the sun set. 40 minute drive to Yosemite valley.Couldn’t have been happier”

“We had a wonderful time! We did puzzles on the large dining room table, watched a DVD movie, made great meals in the kitchen. The place was very comfortable and warm (it snowed just before our arrival). There was some rain so we were very appreciative of the covered parking spot. We will definitely come back when we’re in the area.”

“Place is perfect location for ease of getting to trails. Well stocked kitchen with plenty of cookware. Master bed very comfortable. Comfortable family room furniture with plenty of comfortable seating for 9 adults. Only drawback was there are 3 bedrooms and one sofa bed. Listing stated had 2 futons, in addition to 3 bedrooms, as our complete party didn’t arrive until Wednesday we didn’t realize second sofa was not a fold out until Wednesday night Owner was aware we had 9 adults so not sure why……

My whole family was very impressed and instantly started thinking about our next stay here in the future. Excellent communication with the host and the welcome cookies were incredible! The house has all your basic amenities and more. Look forward to visiting again soon. ”

“I know Wawona fairly well and this cabin is positioned perfectly! It’s right above the main swimming hole and the sound of the river is amazing at night. It’s an old cabin but has everything you need.”
