“We stayed in late Oct 2024. Cabin is older, but very clean. Was a bit chilly in the main room in the evenings (temps in low to mid 40’s); the heaters seemed to have some trouble keeping up. There is a wood burning fireplace in the main room which would have helped, I’m sure, but we were just there in the evenings and didn’t go to the trouble to build a fire. There is an electric fireplace in the bedroom, so it stayed adequately warm at night. The views were beautiful of the sunrises on Lake……

“This place checked all the boxes for a long weekend. “Limited mobility” friendly with bedroom and shower on main level. Loved the walk with the puppy to exercise and see wildlife and sunsets. Everything you needed, well supplied for families and out of way for quiet getaways. Would definitely return (with matches for the fire pit). ”

“Hidden Bear cabin was beautiful! Everything we needed or wanted was there. Plenty of room for 6 of us. The place was clean and very comfortable. Nice and privately tucked back in The woods and yet close enough to town. Beautiful decor, rustic and inviting. Would define recommen to friends and would stay again!!”

“We spent three days at this amazing property in Door County! The Hayes family was extremely accommodating and very responsive to questions prior to our stay. I would highly recommend this property! We enjoyed the central location to neighboring towns, beautifully appointed seasonal decorations, fully equipped amenities (kitchen, laundry, fully stocked game closet, indoor shuffle board table, fire pit, WiFi, basketball hoop, etc) We look forward to visiting again! ”

“The property suited our needs wonderfully! 3 couples stayed comfortably over the weekend. Garbage can pedal was broken and there was visible dust on the walls and air vents but that didn’t affect our wonderful Door County experience. Wish it had garage access as we woke up to snow the last morning!”
