“My husband, adult and teen sons, and I decided on a quick getaway to Door County at the end of July 2025. We saw this property was available for the days we needed, and we were happy with its location between Carlsville and Egg Harbor (plus private and quiet) but has easy access to everything. The property is quiet, extremely clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. While it does share a lot and driveway with another property, windows don't face them and you only see……

They lived in the kayaks, they fished from them and also from the dock. We all enjoyed the game room and yard games. The coffee bar was a nice little perk, especially on the chilly mornings. My husband and I took a bike ride around the neighborhood and everyone was so friendly. We would absolutely recommend the Lake Haus!”

“Second time at this property and it was just as lovely! Stocked kitchen, spacious, comfortable, clean, quiet, and conveniently located to all of the best of door county.”

“The views and cabin itself were GREAT! One of the best places we have stayed that fit everyone comfortably. Weather was nice enough we had a fire outside the first night. This VRBO was the first one we stayed at that had EVERYTHING. Bathroom had shampoo and conditioner dispensers. Kitchen had everything including crock pots (we brought our own), seasonings, blenders etc. We have been to past VRBOs that have bare min pots and pans and nothing extra. Since we were there for a few days in winter,……

“Our stay was absolutely wonderful and truly unforgettable. The location was perfect, offering our very own private beach where we could relax and enjoy nature in complete tranquility. We were pleasantly surprised with a thoughtful gift basket and the freshly caught salmon in the fridge, which added an extra touch of warmth and kindness to our experience. Overall, it was a fantastic escape that exceeded our expectations, and we are grateful for the memorable moments we created here.”

“Suggest trimming the trees and shrubs around the sign showing the house number. Also trimming back the trees along the road to allow for better sight lines when leaving the property. It was difficult to see oncoming traffic when trying to pull out of the drive way. ”

“Nice and quiet. Dishes, cups etc available. However you can bring your own paper products. Paper towel was on kitchen counter. There was no extra tp in the downstairs. We just got by! Lol! Chad was great to work with. Answered all my questions in a reasonable tim. ”

“We have just returned from a week in Heaven! Gorgeous log cabin, but the patio, fire pit and the view blew this place out of the water. The sounds from the waves and a crackling fire made it so peaceful. Door County was friendly and very charming. We were there during the prime cherry picking and enjoyed the wineries. I 1000 percent recommend this place. The only thing we regret is time went so fast. ”
