“The perfect getaway in a tucked-away cabin, but still close to all that Door County has to offer!”

“The house was perfect for our family. Everyone was able to have their own room and bed. Plenty of room to eat. Liked how it was so open - between the living room, kitchen and dining room area. Having the backyard fenced in was nice to have with 2 little ones. The house was stocked with everything that we needed. The downside to the house rental was the flies. There were flies everywhere so when we were cooking, or eating, and they were flying all around, it was kind of gross. ”

“We keep coming back because it’s the most relaxing setting! From the cozy fireplace in the living room to the well appointed kitchen, screwed in porch and outdoor fire pit. We couldn’t ask for more! Will definitely be coming back! ”

“We stayed in late Oct 2024. Cabin is older, but very clean. Was a bit chilly in the main room in the evenings (temps in low to mid 40’s); the heaters seemed to have some trouble keeping up. There is a wood burning fireplace in the main room which would have helped, I’m sure, but we were just there in the evenings and didn’t go to the trouble to build a fire. There is an electric fireplace in the bedroom, so it stayed adequately warm at night. The views were beautiful of the sunrises on Lake……

“Overall very nice. Our 2nd time staying here. All appliances worked fine, no breakdowns. Things to improve upon are a couple more frying pans would have been nice. The shower curtain in the main needs replacing badly. Unfortunate we could not use the fire pit, fireplace, or have a grill to cook on. We really love the place and we will be back ”

“Wonderful! So much more than we expected. Plenty of activities available at the cabin and through out Door county. Cabin had everything you could possibly need. Loved the game room and firepit area. Met the owner once during our stay, very nice gentleman! Did inform us there was a problem with their cell phones but could reach them thru the Log Den (their restaurant) felt guilty not vacuming up or stripping beds before leaving but thats me.( he said it wasn't necessary, they'd take care of……

“Had a wonderful time at the Hazy Hideaway. Clean, comfortable, and spacious. Very relaxing atmosphere. Loved how secluded it was while still being a short drive to the shops and restaurants. We will be back for sure!”

“Perfect for a weekend getaway! The cottage and the property is really beautiful with plenty of stuff to do indoors as well as outdoors.”

“We had a girls weekend that included mothers and daughters. There was plenty of space for all 10 of us. It did take a while to heat the house and we didn't have hot water for the first half of the stay but property management was very responsive and helped as much as they could. I was a little disappointed as it snowed and nothing was shoveled. We quickly retrieved a shovel and got to work. Overall i would 100% stay here again. ”

“My family, including our two young kids and cavapoo, stayed here for five nights and enjoyed every minute. The location was close to everything we wanted to see and the fun part was the kids looked forward to coming back to the house each night and playing on the beach. The fenced in yard was great for our dog. We grilled out two nights and strolled song the beach at sunrise and sunset. The owner was very welcoming and attentive and we appreciated the fish and other goodies he left for us. This……
