“The location is great, very secluded and private. Amazing views right out the bedroom window. Has that remote cabinet feel on the inside. It's about an hour away from Bar Harbor which was perfect for us to make a day trip down there.Also local oysters and lobster are abundant. The only thing that wasn't amazing was the shower, it was either way too hot or way too cold, should be a simple fix to switch the controls.”

“Everything you need and more! The house is very clean, has beach towels all the kitchen items you need, we used the grill for cooking. The canoe and kayak were an extra bonus. ”

It would have been helpful to know that it’s recommended to bring our own water. We both have back issues and found the bed uncomfortable. Close to Bar Harbor and many other awesome attractions. ”

“My family of 8 & 3 dogs loved this cabin! It's clean & well stocked & just as described. The teenagers enjoyed sleeping together in the loft area. The proximity to Bar Harbor & Acadia was perfect. We could go out & explore the area & head back to the cabin for lunch before heading out again. When we weren't out exploring we loved the large porch & fire pit. Host was great to work with. Would definitely recommend!”

“My significant other and I had a beautiful stay at this unique cozy cabin! This was our home base while in the area exploring Acadia and we loved starting our day with views of the lake and coming back to enjoy relaxing by the firepit. Everything was as described and it was nice having our own private bathroom a few steps from the main cabin along with access to a washer and dryer to keep our laundry fresh after a week of traveling and camping. “The property in Surry was just perfect for our use. The property is one of 3 manufactured homes on this property. The rental was clean, comfortable and perfect for the two of us. It is located on a quiet road and very drivable to many sightseeing attractions in the immediate area, Acadia NP being one of them. The AC came in handy during our stay as the weather was warm. The basic kitchen was good for us as we ate out every night. The washer and dryer were a good perk also. Overall a very good……

“Overall the cottage stay was fine. It was clean. The bathroom could definitely use a makeover - everything worked and there was plenty of hot water but it’s old. No extra towels were provided. The kitchen was newly renovated but it’s tiny. There’s a tiny refrigerator and no oven. And there are very few utensils, just the bare minimum. We stayed for three nights and cooked or prepared all of our meals there. The location to the park is very good. And overall it’s a totally acceptable……

“Chose glamping as a fun alternative to a hotel when in town for a concert. My daughter and her friends loved it (they are campers so en suite bathroom with screen did not bother them). Tent beds were so clean and comfy! We had rain, but cooked a big brunch in the outdoor kitchen. Hosts were wonderful and we had a great time! Would highly recommend!”
