“We enjoyed our stay so much. We came to view the tulips and the fields were only several miles away from our condo. The place was very comfortable, tastefully decorated, with a nice kitchen. Beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were lovely. We loved staying right in town because we were steps away from coffee shops, restaurants and shopping. We took many lovely walks. “This “shome” is pretty central to the many tulip gardens. Easy commute between the “shome” and various activities and restaurants. The patio has a gorgeous view with local deer wandering by. The host family contains two charming golden retriever mix dogs that we adored. Hostess is helpful, funny, and attentive without overwhelming the vibe. These two old gals thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.”

“The place was perfect for our family of 4. I read other reviews that if you have Verizon you would have great signal and hot spot if you needed it which was true for us. As part of your stay they provide three bundles of firewood, smores kits, coffee, cocoa, and tea. A definite plus, which we took full advantage of. Fire starter and lighter sticks also provided. Place was clean, well decorated and had all the necessary amenities. Just enough space between cabins which gave the right amount……

“The Gnome cabin is very nice. Comfortable couch to relax on, nice kitchen and dining table, large bathroom with a washer and dryer and two good size bedrooms. A large deck and cute yard. The beds are memory foam which some people may find uncomfortable. I would recommend a non- skid pad for the shower floor as the soft water makes it slippery. We would recommend the Gnome cabin for a visit to the island. ”
