“It was a great spot, would have been nice to sit outside and enjoy the great view, but Mother Nature didn’t let that happen. Rain and windy. One thing I suggest is when you send the code to your renters you include the physical street address, other than just Durrel. ”

“Great spot. Only issue is the bed is not very comfortable & pillows are not great. The washroom is upstairs with bedroom/ sitting area which was fine for us but if any mobility issues it’s likely not suitable. ”

“This is a very spacious home with beautiful decor, local furniture and artwork. It was a special place to stay. Location is wonderful for walking and exploring the island. Host was always available. Highly recommend . ”

“This place is exceptionally beautiful and peaceful location and is the perfect place for relaxation. The deck is a great place for watching the water and birdlife and the interior is comfortable and well appointed. The only minor quibble we have is that the stairs to the upper floor (where all the bedrooms are) are short and therefore a little tricky to negotiate for us older folks. Otherwise, it is an ideal spot for a retreat.”

“We are two young senior couples who were looking for a waterfrontage base of operations as we explored the Twillingate area. We stayed 3 nights, the house was 14 minutes drive from the town and with the same distance drive from great trails.... but even the walks on the quiet road along the shore were lovely.”

“We enjoyed our stay the property was as described clean and comfortable with a beautiful view! . Suggestions for future would be to have directions on a pdf to download or forearm is as we struggled with data to find the place. Also would have enjoyed a lamp and nightstand or shelf in the bedrooms ”

“A beautiful view in a lovely quiet cove. Very peaceful. The property had most amenities we needed for our family. Comfortable beds, lots of towels, well equipped kitchen & nice deck & bbq. Also nice fenced yard for our dog. What was also noticed were some maintenance issues. The clothes dryer in kitchen area was extremely noisy & not usable. Some of the windows needed work, we could open but they would not close properly & had broken mechanisms. There was no propane firepit as advertised. A……

“We were thankful all of the beds for our party of 6. The place was clean and spacious. Appreciated the full kitchen, two bathrooms, spring water and laundry available (didn’t use). Beautiful view, saw jellyfish in the water. The decor makes you think about the past and how people used to live but also how to upcycle “old” furniture. Nice, comfortable stay, thank you! ”

“This property is stunning. Attention to detail is top notch. The local decoration was tastefully done and as a clean freak the cleanliness of this property was perfect. Used many of the amenities from bbq, French press coffee, laundry, out door speaker and hair dryer. Location was about 15 min outside Twillingate on a bay. Very quiet and peaceful. Beds were very comfortable with lots of pillows. We will be nack”
