“Mikanos was an extremely friendly and engaging host. The breakfast was outstanding. The location is perfect i.e. about 2 minutes from the small town, not too quiet not too busy....goldilocks. One of a couple of places in the world we've been to that we'd return to”

“One of the loveliest hotels we've stayed in on Crete, and excellent value. Our room had a breathtaking seaview and we'd return just for this alone. But the host, Harris, was also very friendly and attentive, telling us how to navigate down to the beach and town. Air conditioning worked like a dream and the bed was comfy. All in all a brilliant experience, and as we are frequent visitors to Crete we will be back. ”

“Das vielseitige, fantasievolle, abwechslungsreiche und superleckere Frühstück, das auf dem Zimmer serviert wurde (vllt weil wir in der Vorsaison da waren). Der große, gut möblierte Balkon. Der sehr zuvorkommende Zimmerservice. Das Spa. Der Pool war noch nicht befüllt Ende März, dafür gab es mehr kostenfreie Spa-Zeit. Die Betten sind sehr gut, das Zimmer, obwohl kleinste Kategorie, sehr groß und mit vollständiger Küche. Alle Menschen waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. ”

“Very nice place on the beach within walking distance to anything you may need. Our rooms were upgraded to the apartment upon arrival. The ladies at the front desk were awesome. Very kind and easy to work with. It is a Very nice and spacious accommodation. We also elected the breakfast and dinner option here. Every day the options were different and you had plenty of variety to choose from. It was nice to be able to sit back and relax for a few days and not have to go looking for something to……

“Un Resort bien aménagé et très propre. L’accès à la plage est parfait. Transat, parasol et serviettes inclus. C’est mieux de privilégier les chambres à l’étage pour un peu plus de clarté. Sinon, les chambres sont grandes et confortables. La douche est un peu petite, mais ça semble être le standard en Crète. L’emplacement est idéal pour la plage, mais un peu excentré pour les restaurants. ”

“Das Hotel Alianthos Beach ist ideal gelegen. Über die Straße kommt man direkt zum Strand. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist abwechslungsreich und lecker. Das Essen im Restaurant ist ebenfalls sehr lecker und man sitzt sehr schön unter den Bäumen mit Blick aufs Meer. Kleiner Kritikpunkt: Wir wurden zuerst in einem Zimmer zur Seite ohne Meerblick untergebracht, obwohl wir Meerblick gebucht hatten. Am nächsten Tag konnten wir in ein Zimmer mit sehr schönem Ausblick umziehen. ”
