“Very nice property and loved the location. Only concern was the steep roads to access cabin. It rained a couple of days and it took us four tries to get to the cabin in my vehicle.”

Everything was spotless, beautifully furnished, and incredibly welcoming. The kitchen was fully equipped, the beds were very comfortable, and every room was inviting. “I would like to say the stay was restful and relaxing, but my wife and I were out sightseeing quite a bit! The cabin was very secluded and, seriously, very relaxing. While we did not see and bears, we did see 2 deer. Overall, I certainly would recommend this location! It sure beats the hustle and bustle of the more touristy area nearby!”

“I am obsessed with the property and the bus! My husband and I stayed for a night with our three toddlers while taking a night off from section hiking the AT. We all slept in the king bed in the back which was INSANELY comfortable. The hosts are a super sweet little family. Our laundry was done for a small fee very quickly. “We had a wonderful relaxing time here at the cabin. It is exactly as described. The views are beautiful. We got to see a bear stroll through the property. We enjoyed some meals and drinks at Peaceful Side Social, Apple Valley, Mountain Brothers Brewing and at Wild Laurel Golf course tavern. Great location for a stress free, relaxing vacation! You definitely want an AWD vehicle to get up the drive.”

“Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the cabin, and surrounding area! The cabin was clean, open concept, cozy, and the views were outstanding! We had everything we needed, bed was comfortable, and hot tub and pool table were a nice touch. Drive up the 1st time was a bit nerve racking, but easy up and down after that. “Precious cabin for two! Beautiful drive on winding road along and over the White Oak Creek with views of the mountains forest and water falls. Lots of outdoor recreation activities. I booked white water rafting on the Nantahala in the morning and zip lining in the mountain forest in the afternoon! The fully equipped kitchenette was perfect for quick morning breakfast.
