“What a hidden gem near Townsend!! This is a very unique place to stay (I was just looking for a hotel room) The bed is comfortable, the bathroom has a neat walk in shower. Just like a bedroom with a gorgeous view of a mountain. If I'm ever back in the area, I will for sure stay again and a bit longer than just one night. Check in was SO easy. I didn't get the email because it was a last minute decision to stay, so I called and almost immediately got a text with information. Excellent find!!”

“I am obsessed with the property and the bus! My husband and I stayed for a night with our three toddlers while taking a night off from section hiking the AT. We all slept in the king bed in the back which was INSANELY comfortable. The hosts are a super sweet little family. Our laundry was done for a small fee very quickly. “Love, love, love this place. Would 100% recommend to anyone wanting a perfect getaway near the Smokys. The cabins are wonderful and the views are spectacular. Melissa was a fantastic host and the food there is also amazing. Will be back to take advantage of the spa and everything the area has to offer! ”

“Awesome secluded place to stay. Very cozy and clean. I am very glad we brought our “camping bin” however that has a lot of supplies, like utensils, paper plates, pan, spatula etc. We cooked all our meals on the grill. The kitchenette is nice but very small. The only sink is in the bathroom. Great access to the Tail of the Dragon (25 min drive) which was the reason for our trip. If you bring a trailer DO NOT try and take it to your cabin. Park outside the gate”

“The Lil House is a nice, cozy spot for a couple to unwind and enjoy the nearby mountains and what the general area has to offer. I enjoyed the slightly rustic and mountainous themed decor. Lots of little lamps; very good interior lighting. Cabin is very easy to get to with two driveway entrances, however parking is a bit tight. Only one roll of toilet paper, but we managed. “We were surprised that for a very high property fee. There was no ice no ice trays no coffee no amenities on the property at all. Also, GPS does not get you to the property. We had to download an app on our phone and in just reading the description of the property were able to get directions, however those were even wrong as it said to turn it to Phillips 66 gas station and it has been a gas station since 2018 ”
