“The Good: Guy at check-in was super friendly and helpful on where to park our trailer. The room was small, but very homey and sort of rustic. It was very clean and bed was comfortable. The view of the river was just great and being dog friendly was critical to us as we had our pup with us. Seems like many folks staying were repeat guests who all talked w/us and each other. “I am obsessed with the property and the bus! My husband and I stayed for a night with our three toddlers while taking a night off from section hiking the AT. We all slept in the king bed in the back which was INSANELY comfortable. The hosts are a super sweet little family. Our laundry was done for a small fee very quickly. “We stayed here while we were visiting the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad. We arrived in the evening, after check-in time, so they left an envelope at the door with all the information to access our room. Everything was perfect and breakfast on both Saturday and Sunday mornings was amazing. We loved it.”

“Beautiful lodge and property. I was looking for something tucked in the mountains that would accomodate my dog. Staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Mountain cabin was clean and very comfortable. Got some.nreakfsst sandwiches in the morning, amd the biscuits were delicious. There are also miles of hiking trails on and near the property, and a gorgeous river. ”
