“We loved this property! It was very new - didn't have that "lived in" feeling at all and no obvious wear and tear on any appliances, furnishings, or kitchen tools. And very clean!! The house had most everything you could want...and great views. We had 2 small kids with us who really enjoyed the vanishing steps to the lake. “We were over the top thrilled with our stay. Its so quiet and peaceful out there. The house is wonderful and the best thoughts of what a vacationer needs. I can't say enough good things about this wonder place. Private, secluded in the trees. Coffee on the deck every morning with the dew over the property listening to the birds was so relaxing. We definitely give this stay 5 plus stars. ”

“After the hurricane, there were not many places in the county that had electricity, but this home did. It was a blessing for our family to be able to live and work here for a week. “We spent our Labor Day weekend at Historic Grain Cottage on Highland Cow Farm and were immersed in the middle of this working farm. The accomodations were cozy and rustic and we thoroughly enjoyed interacting with the cows, goats, chickens, cats, and horse. We felt safe guarded by our 2 sweet and gentle pups Sadie and Murphy (Great Pyrenees) as they patrolled the area. “This experience was amazing. The hosts provide literally everything you need except clothes and food. Fire wood and everything to start the fire in the fire pit. The grill had propane and lit up one the first ignitor push. And everything inside the cottage you need except food and clothes. Property is quiet and peaceful. There is a grocery store 5 min away and plenty of things to do with in an hour drive. 10/10 recommend.”
