“What a great house at Rumbling Bald! The house is exactly as pictured, with attention to every detail. Although the lake has been dredged, we still had plenty to do and enjoyed every moment spent in the spacious house. Ian was always accommodating and immediately addressed a minor issue we had. Our family has spent a week at Rumbling Bald the past eight summers. It would be difficult to find a finer home at the resort.”

It has incredible mountain views, is private and quiet, has a beautiful deck with gas firepit, well appointed kitchen, comfy furniture both inside and out, everything was clean, and we didn't have to buy any laundry/dishwasher detergents and came with starter shampoo & conditioner. There was even a cupboard full of spices which made meal prep great and having Ingles grocery store just down the road was a great benefit. I enjoyed walking through the……

“This vacation home is perfect for a couple or a couple with a teen that wants their own space. The location was excellent. A few miles from downtown Chimney Rock, right on a Lake Lure quiet cove, and a 1 minute drive from a nice lakeside restaurant. We very much enjoyed waking up early in the morning, making a cup of coffee, and sitting on the balcony off the bedroom to watch the mist rise off the lake as the morning fisherman slowly moved past. We never saw anyone actually catch a fish……

“Top class quality of the property, very responsive host, super well appointed with high-end stuff. We had a great time living in the property. Thank God for that.. as there was not much else to around the area. Most places in the Lake Lure area were damaged by a recent storm. The putting golf in the property was great and so was the hot tub.”

“We had a great time during our family 4th of July escape. The house was great. Had awesome adventures golfing, exploring Chimney Rock State Park and getting into downtown Asheville once. We cooked in the very well stocked kitchen. We can only imagine how awesome it will be when Lake Lure is back in action with swimming and boating options. Hoping the area recovers fully from the devastation of Helene. ”

“We were able to go straight to the property without any issues. The house was comfortable for 10 of us. The Lake is quiet and relaxing. The water toys were used by all of us. The kitchen was well stocked and the second refrigerator was handy. The beds were comfortable, the house in great condition. The owner was responsive and always helpful. ”

“Mr. Tim the easiest host I have worked with. The lovely home was spot on to everything that was mentioned.The tinder interrupted our time at the pool each day. My granddaughters age from 1 to 10 were happy staying at the house. Between board games and just having the best time at the house, the girls didn’t mind not being able to swim.The girls and I did happened to met with Mother Nature. While out riding on a golf cart me met a momma bear and her children. I do believe the bears were as scared……
