“This has classic rustic charm with lots of big rooms and bedrooms for the family. During one of the hottest weeks in the summer, this house is always shaded by lots of trees. So we were able to sit on the porches to get fresh air. From the porch on the weekend, we could hear live music in the afternoon from the Grill down the street, which we enjoyed. “This vacation home is perfect for a couple or a couple with a teen that wants their own space. The location was excellent. A few miles from downtown Chimney Rock, right on a Lake Lure quiet cove, and a 1 minute drive from a nice lakeside restaurant. We very much enjoyed waking up early in the morning, making a cup of coffee, and sitting on the balcony off the bedroom to watch the mist rise off the lake as the morning fisherman slowly moved past. We never saw anyone actually catch a fish……
