“Great family trip! Riverside was a cute and comfortable little inn. The staff was great and we loved our room. We had a balcony which had a great view of the river. So peaceful. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants. I’m heartbroken for this community. So sad this little gem is gone. When they get up and running again we will definitely be back. One of my favorite towns in NC. ”

We packed much more than we needed because the house was so well-equipped. The furnishings and mattresses were comfortable both inside and out. We spent almost as much time on the well-furnished porch as we did inside. Thunderstorms came through the area during our stay that resulted in power outages in the area, but the whole-house generator turned……

“Beautiful, peaceful setting away from it all. Great for golfers & equestrians. Has a nice restaurant & bar on the premises (not open every day). Very good food and nice view overlooking the pond. About 1/2 hour drive from Lake Lure, Chimney Rock & Tryon. Friendly, helpful staff!”
