“What a great spot to stay in Clear Lake! Everything was perfect for our group of five couples who were in town for a concert at The Surf. We had plenty of space and the house was clean and very nicely done. We had everything we needed and the host was friendly and easy to communicate with. Great spot for any group to stay. We will definitely stay again! Thank you! ”

“We came to Clear Lake for a concert at the Surf. The house is very close! The host let me know about the farmer’s market in the parking lot of the Surf on Saturday mornings, so that was very convenient! The games were nice, there was a chair in the living room that we were all obsessed with, and there were a ton of extra blankets and pillows all around the house for lounging! It was a great little house and had more than enough space for our two couples. The host didn’t reach out after check-in……

“A nice place for us to stop on our way through town and for our first time in Clear Lake. Some lamps would be a nice addition, especially in the bedrooms. There are some tricky stairs that less sure-footed guests should be aware of.”

“I had business in town and my wife came with for the 4th. We do not have a boat but the access to the water by way of the dock was fantatic! She floatied around with the ducks for days. Property location was excellent right next to an ice cream shop. Everything we needed and more...deck..fire pit...lots of indoor space....just a nice property. Oh ...and owners were fantastically accommodating. Thanx!”

“We had a really nice time staying at Swordfish Dog Retreat. The house was clean, well appointed, and wonderfully decorated. It is within walking distance to the downtown and the lake. The lower level was stocked with everything you need to make your dog comfy and the fenced in yard was great too! Mike and Abby were easy to contact about check in and anything else we needed. We hope to stay again in the near future. ”
