“My mother celebrated her 93rd birthday on this trip. We started renting this property in 1988 and it was a wonderful full circle memory for her. The place was lovely. The only complaint was the water pressure was quite low, but totally understandable with the water situation on the Coast. Will definitely recommend this property to others. ”

“The Tiny Tipsy Turtle was perfect for our needs. Well designed to make use of a small space. As 2 adults and a large dog with a crate, we were just fine. The cleanliness and great use of space made our stay lovely. Having the deck/patio area was a nice bonus. Location was wonderful: walking distance to shopping, eateries and a beach. ”

“This place has spoiled me for any other rentals I've stayed in this vacation. The owners were great at communicating and offering advice on where to eat and what wineries to visit. There was also so many added touches to make the stay enjoyable. From turning on the AC before we came in to the coffee, water and wine and so much more. Also, there was the most comfortable chairs to sit in to have your coffee in the morning or to relax at night. I honestly didn't want to leave. Trust me on……

“The house is beautiful. Everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived. The manager was super responsive to our questions. The property feels private, quiet and safe. The dogs loved the property. We did have to climb up from the road to close one gate for peace of mind. I highly recommend this location. Thanks for having us. We hope to be back sometime soon!”

“It’s a perfect escape for a couple, a beautiful setting and very intimate. A couple of things that are good to know: the bathroom doors are louvered, so if you are not already on comfortable bathroom habit status with your person, this might change that! As other reviews have noted, the bed is fairly hard. Two nights would be my maximum. And if you are at all pillow picky and are wondering if you should bring your own, you should. It was a beautiful peaceful place and we had a wonderful time.……

“Treat yourself to a stay at this cabin! We rent often-- Elizabeth was exceptionally service-oriented and friendly. The cabin was extra special in regards to decor, bed comfort, and having everything you need. We especially enjoyed the sound system that we set on spa music throughout the cabin. Starlink (recently installed) worked great for us just enough to stay in touch by text and emails, phone was a bit spotty. Overall, this is a fantastic place to stay for relaxation, while still being close……

“We really enjoyed our weekend away, two small families, sharing the house and studio across the deck. Modern Zen is set back from the road and consequently really quiet and feels super secluded. The kitchen was well set up with everything we needed for a family meal. Some really thoughtful touches and little luxuries like a heated bathroom floor! “This was the sweetest, most magical little treehouse cottage. The attention to detail, cozy linens, and high end finishes make it the perfect place to retreat and rest. Megan was very helpful and easy to communicate with! Great proximity to hikes, restaurants, and the coast. We really loved breakfast at Cape Fear, and drove up the coast one night for dinner at Coast Kitchen which was totally worth the drive. I would love to stay here again. Thank you!”

“I love the place it was beautifully and quiet. My girls and i had a great time. The one thing i did not like is when someone try to say I was having more ppl staying at the place when it wasnt true. I make sure I fallow th rulse I'm not a person that be rude in someone place. I understand the person was looking out for the own but it just made me uncomfortable. But lucky the own was understandable. ”

“The place was amazing and we were so happy we stayed there. We would go back again in a heartbeat. It is a short walk away from the public Monte Rio beach and restaurants and it is a short drive away from the ocean or Santa Rosa in the other direction.”

“The five of us really enjoyed our stay. The property is wonderful and well stocked. We were surprised to have the hot tub maintenance person show up one day around 8am, but otherwise it was an extremely peaceful and private spot. Would stay there again! ”

“This cabin is tucked into a great, quiet neighborhood with two walkable river accesses. We loved the backyard and the fact that the back doors open to fresh air the whole time. We also loved the historical charm of this cabin. It's a great place to stay for all seasons of the year, with beautiful old fireplaces. Walls are pretty thin, but if you're with a close friend or family, it's nothing you wouldn't already be used to. ”
