“This motel has been under new management for the past couple of years, but the service and value have remained good. No frills, but a great stopover on my way back from Florida.”

“We have stayed here many times traveling from NC down to FL and have always enjoyed the kind and friendly owner and host and his beautiful orchids, mandevilas, begonias, and other flowering hanging baskets and plants in the lobby and throughout the property. The room is comfortable and we will return again!”

“The property is undergoing renovations so it appears they are improving the conditions. The room we stayed in was partially done and the only window treatment was a thin paper honeycomb blind that allowed an outdoor bright light to shine through all night. Also no drawers or hangers for clothes other than 3 wall hooks. No toiletries besides a bar of soap.”

“When we arrive we had to call someone to check us in and we waited for 15-20 minutes before they showed up. Received the key for our room, walked in and it wasn't cleaned from the last person that stayed there. Blood spots on the counter by the sink. Was given another room, that one was a little cleaner. Walked into the bathroom and there was 2 roaches on the floor. Pulled down the blankets on the bed and there was a roach in it. Needless to say we left and had to go to 2 other hotels in the……
