“We had a fabulous time at this property. Jeff, the host, was close by if we had a question (or to share some breakfast with him!). The home was comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. It was a great location for what we had planned.....hiking waterfalls in the area. It was close to grocery stores in Ithaca, and shopping too. “We rented the place for a mini reunion for 12 Cornell grads from the 90’sThe place is well equipped with plenty of bedrooms, a large deck and living space to accommodate everyone in the group. We enjoyed using the provided kayaks and the fire pit at night. The outdoor flat top grill was great for cooking meals for the group. Location 15 min away from Ithaca Commons and Cornell was ideal. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent the place again and is ideal for both adults and families. ”

I loved the beautiful wood countertop, the warm octagonal ceiling, the vintage clawtooth tub, the life affirming greenhouse window, Matisse's "Joy of Life" on the wall, the colorful birds on the curtains, & the natural light that abounds through windows and/or doors on 6 sides of the Octagon.
