“We had a wonderful time at this home. The house is very spacious, and nicely appointed. We also really enjoyed the town of Aurora. The only criticism is that there are 2 coffee pots in the main kitchen, neither of which worked, so we had to bring a pot down from one of the upstairs kitchens. And there are no oven mitts or pot holders in the house, and dish towels were not provided. Also in the description of the house it shows a lovely firepit down by the lake. The firepit did not exist. So that……

“We had a wonderful stay at the Mallard Cottage. Views from the deck were spectacular, witnessed a full moon rising in the East and delighted in the beautiful end of day light glowing in the fields below. The cottage was bright and airy with several windows affording views and natural light. Clean and cozy and had everything we could possibly need. . ”

“The property was lovely and had all the amenities. Right on the water. Less than half an hour to both Ithaca and Watkins Glen. We absolutely loved it here! The second half bath was a bit of an overstatement since it was in a separate unheated outbuilding but was not an issue since there were only two of us. ”

“Mike and Melissa were wonderful. Their house is beautiful and nicely updated. The upstairs guest room was far enough away from everyone else to feel like a relaxing escape from the rest of the family. The dock toys (floats) were fun and brand new. The space was perfect for our needs. We had an issue with bees and spiders but Mike was quick to get an exterminator. ”

“This was a great tucked away spot behind a vineyard. It was cozy and great access to the lake. It was smack in the middle of many wineries and 15 minutes to watkins glen. There is no air conditioning but fans were supplied. It is supplied with well water. Bring your basic cooking supplies oil, butter and seasonings. ”
